A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be provided at time of booking which must be signed and return to Poppet Parties. Bookings will not be confirmed until the signed copy has been received by Poppet Parties.
Booking & Cancellation
1. A 50% deposit is required to secure the time and date of the booking. This is non-refundable if cancelled less than 48 hours before the event.
2. All bookings will be confirmed in writing by Poppet Parties.
3. Bookings will not be confirmed until a signed copy of these Terms & Conditions has been received by Poppet Parties.
4. All bookings are required to pay the remaining balance by the morning of the event. This can be made in cash on arrival or by bank transfer. Poppet Parties will not begin to set up for the session until full payment is received.
5. Any changes to the booking must be received by email and agreed by Poppet Parties prior to the date of hire.
6. If Poppet Parties cancels the booking any monies already paid will be refunded within 72 hours.
Delivery, Setup and Collection
1. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that there will be adequate space available for the equipment. If adequate space is not available at the location, Poppet Parties will safely set up as much of the equipment as possible and full payment will still be required.
2. Please allow a minimum of 60 minutes before the event for Poppet Parties to deliver and set up the equipment and allow a minimum of 60 minutes after the event for Poppet Parties to remove equipment.
3. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure easy access to the venue for unloading and loading of equipment. Any restrictions must be reported to Poppet Parties in advance, such as but not limited to, lack of parking, stairs, narrow doorways etc. Failure to do so may result in Poppet Parties not being able to deliver and no refunds shall be given.
4. All packages include free delivery to venues within the following postcodes in Northampton – NN1, NN2, NN3, NN4 and NN5. Venues outside of these postcodes will incur a delivery fee. Please contact us for details.
5. Poppet Parties will endeavour to deliver on time, but Poppet Parties will not be held responsible for delay incurred due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. traffic problems, bad weather).
Health & Safety
It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring our equipment to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage. Please ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed: (A copy of our ‘Rules of Play’ will be left with the hire equipment.)
1. The equipment is only suitable for children under the age of 5 years old. Please ensure no one over this age uses the equipment.
2. Please ensure that our equipment is kept in a clean condition - Any stains which require further cleaning over and above the normal routine, as a result of not following these Terms and Conditions, will incur a minimum £20 fee.
3. No food or drink should be consumed on the hire equipment.
4. All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the equipment including the foam safety mats.
5. Socks must be worn at all times, for both hygiene and safety purposes.
6. No bubbles, glitter, face paint to prevent any damage or stains to the hire equipment.
7. No smoking near the equipment.
8. A responsible Adult (over 18 years old) must supervise at all times. Poppet Parties accepts no liability for any accidents or injuries that may occur whilst the equipment is on hire.
9. Children must not push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
10. No pets or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the equipment.
Clients Responsibility
1. All sessions based outside must have an inside option available. It is the hirers responsibility to move the equipment inside during a session if the weather changes, to prevent damage.
2. If the equipment is being used outside, it should be away from any smoking areas or BBQs.
3. The hirer is responsible for any loss of equipment or damage, during the hire period.
4. Any equipment that will need to be replaced due to damage, will be charged at the full replacement price.
5. All the balls should be returned to the ball pit prior to collection.
Poppet Parties Responsibility
1. All soft play equipment is sanitised, cleaned and checked thoroughly after each use to ensure the equipment is still of high quality and safe.
2. Poppet Parties will take photographs of the setup, prior to leaving as evidence of the quality of the equipment prior to hire.
3. Poppet Parties are covered by Public Liability Insurance.
DISCLAIMER
Please note that all persons using our equipment do so at their own risk. The person/organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Our company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.
